Dick Newlove
Dick is a lifelong resident of Bowling Green and a graduate of Bowling Green State University. He and his wife Laurie, Director of Volunteers and Life Line Director at Wood County Hospital, reside in Bowling Green. They have six children and fifteen grandchildren.
Dick is very active in the Bowling Green community and serves on the following boards and committees:
- Bowling Green Community Development Committee (Economic Development) Past President of Board of Trustees
- Downtown Bowling Green Foundation - Chair
- Wood County Democratic Party Executive Committee - Vice Chair
- Downtown Bowling Green - Board of Trustees Vice Chair
- Bowling Green State University College of Arts & Sciences Advocates Board
Dick and his wife are also members of the BGSU President's Club, BGSU Falcon Club, Saint John XXIII Parish, and Stone Ridge Golf Course.
Dick is a past president of the Bowling Green State University Board of Trustees and the University Foundation Board. He is a past president of the Bowling Green Chamber of Commerce, and Wood County Board of Realtors, and has served on the Bowling Green City Council.
Dick has received the Bowling Green Citizen of the Year, Spirit of Wood County, and is a member of the Wood County Board of Realtors Hall of Fame.
Dick is the president and full-time broker at Newlove Realty and has received many sales awards. He was also the first Wood County recipient of the Ohio Association Award of Excellence for reaching more than Five Million Dollars in sales.
