About Karen Seeliger
Bowling Green has been Karen’s home for 30 years. She has extensive work experience in the financial industry where she was most recently a VP/City Executive for Fifth Third Bank.
Serving as President of the Chamber of Commerce provided Karen an avenue to serve the community and learn much about the inter-workings of the city. She also was named Chairperson of the Wood County United Way campaign, while serving on multiple local boards.
It has been very rewarding to have received the Athena award for promoting women in business and later being named Bowling Green “Citizen of the Year”.
Karen has been preparing for a career in real estate through her community interaction and banking experience. She is an extremely hard worker and there is nothing more enjoyable for Karen than helping people.
Karen is married to Scott Seeliger, Director of Athletics and Head Football Coach at the Bowling Green High School. She has two daughters, Keri Buff (also a realtor with Newlove Realty) and Kori Atwood (a 7th-grade history teacher at the BG Middle School) both live in Bowling Green with their families.
